“Short Life, Long Afterlife”

Acrylics on Wooden Structure

80x205 cm

What choices define us? “Heaven and Hell”. The skull reminds you of death. Skulls leer from the edge, framing a scene of modern excess, soaring cityscapes and the cold threat of a tank. The flames lick upwards, a constant reminder of what awaits. Sometimes bad things around us distract us from doing something good and confuse us. This artwork invites reflection on our choices and the legacies we build. Are we creating heaven, or paving the road to hell? Every choice matters.

“Multiple Personality”

Acrylic on Canvas

60x80 cm

From this artwork I want to bring up how people can feel different emotions just by showing 1 gesture. Even though the person in the painting shows 1 gesture, It can define a couple of expressions. The colour purple represents fear. The colour blue represents sadness, the green colour represent disgust, the red colour represents anger and the neutral colour represents joy I wanted to show that each individuals have their own way to express their expression and emotion

“A Roar and a Smile”

Acrylic on Canvas

40x50 cm

My artwork reflects how emotions can shift in an instant. If we’re not mindful, we act no differently from animals. Using animal and color theory, I explore anger and happiness-two dominant emotions. The tiger, symbolizing anger, wears red, representing rage masking sadness. The elephant, representing happiness, wears yellow, symbolizing joy. Eyes play a key role; the elephant's eyes appear to smile, influencing perception. This piece embodies the theme “Acting Like an Animal”

“Java Meets Egypt”

Acrylic, Watercolour Paint and Coarse Texture Gel

30x40 cm

I use Wayang Kulit to represent Javanese culture in Indonesia, creating an abstract and decorative style. The dominant colors are orange to light brown, reflecting traditional Wayang tones. The “Gunungan” features brown and yellow with detailed drawings of snakes, monkeys, and peacocks. The clothing incorporates “Batik” patterns with Wayang faces. The background blends orange and blue for abstractness, with textured elements inside the “Gunungan”, finished with clear spray paint.
